Description
The stress of the COVID-19 Pandemic has exacerbated an already precarious staffing situation in long-term care. Consistent with the expectations for trauma-informed care, this session explores the organization’s responsibility to safeguard the mental health of its workforce. Providing support, stress management and mediation of office politics are all stepping stones to achieving an improved culture and quality of work life.
