Description

This seminar will focus on exploring the three domains of the CMS 5-Star Quality Rating System: Health Inspections, Staffing, and Quality Measures, as well as a review of the SNF QRP program. You will learn how the health inspection, staffing, quality measure, and overall rating is calculated. Tips on how to analyze your date and develop plans to achieve 5-Star status will be discussed, along with application of the elements of QAPI to improve facility 5-Star Ratings. Those in attendance will be able to: 1. Understand the three domains of the 5-Star Rating System. 2. Understand how each component is calculated and the impact on the overall 5-Star Rating 3. Acquire knowledge to implement best practices for 5-Star improvement. Target audience: Administrators, Directors of Nursing and other Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) members.
