This training is a 4-hour program offered from 8:00 until 12:00 noon and REPEATED 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. No lunch provided.

The October 1st effective date of the revised MDS 3.0 item set (v1.18.11) is fast approaching. This updated version of the MDS brings with it many significant changes. The implications of these changes affect not just the completion of the MDS, but also will have a significant impact on the faciality assessment and documentation practices, person centered care planning process, discharge planning, SNF QRP and other facility Quality Measures. This training program will cover the upcoming changes occurring to the MDS and help facilities develop and implement action plans to be ready for these changes.
This training is for the experienced MDS coordinator. Training for NEW MDS coordinators will be provided in the 2-day BASIC training.
