Due to the increase of COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma, Care Providers Oklahoma feels it is necessary to CANCEL this in-person training for the safety of registrants and residents you care for.
CMA 8-hour update classes are available on-line at careoklahoma.nextthought.io. If you have CMA's that need to renew their certification please feel free to contact Care Providers Oklahoma at 405-524-8338, Connie @ ext. 104 or Natashia @ ext. 105 and we will be glad to provide you information regarding on-line training. A Certified Medication Aide shall renew certification every 12 months. Recertification requires documentation of completion of at least eight (8) hours of continuing education every 12 months, excluding the first year, after certification. In addition, certification as a Long Term Care Aide, Home Health Aide or Developmentally Disabled Direct Care Aide must be current. Diseases of the Body and Mind will be the subject of discussion in 2020.
CDC guidelines will be followed and mask are suggested. Temperature check will be required upon entrance. Social distancing will be provided.
