A Certified Medication Aide shall renew certification every 12 months. Recertification requires documentation of completion of at least eight (8) hours of continuing education every 12 months, excluding the first year, after certification. In addition, certification as a Long Term Care Aide, Home Health Aide or Developmentally Disabled Direct Care Aide must be current.
Diseases of the Body and Mind will be the subject of discussion in 2020.
