The restorative program\, with examples and demonstrations\, will be explored in depth. Participants will understand why restorative is necessary and how restorative services can make a definite and distinct impact on almost every area of a facility's quality care and culture. Participants will learn how to deliver a restorative nursing program that keeps the facility in compliance with federal law and state surveys and promotes keeping residents at their highest functional level physically\, mentally and psychosocially. Specific training will be provided on integrating the multidisciplinary team with restorative services for carryover of services into everyday life and activities. Each participant will also have a take-home\, open book skills test with skills demonstration sign-off. Facilities are required to have physical\, occupational\, and speech therapist available for skills demonstration sign-off.\nVisitors and attendees at in-person training and/or meetings should acknowledge that there is a risk of contracting COVID-19 infection and that Care Providers Oklahoma cannot prevent and is not responsible for such risk of infection to any person who chooses to attend in-person training and/or meetings.
