DESCRIPTION:This 2-day BASIC MDS class is a comprehensive review of the RAI process and how to complete the MDS assessment. Topics covered include: Comprehensive review of all sections in MDS\, CAA's and Care Planning\, CASPER reports\, 672/802\, and how to conduct all interviews. This class is perfect for *NEW* MDS employees and DON /ADONs. It is highly recommended you bring a current RAI manual to class or have access to an electronic version during class. Instructor: Cathy Young\, RN\, RAC-CTA\, RAC-CT\, LNHA - Phoenix Healthcare Changes to the October 2023 MDS will be briefly discussed. Care Providers Oklahoma will offer education on "Changes in MDS" once changes have been posted. Visitors and attendees at in-person training and/or meetings should acknowledge that there is a risk of contracting COVID-19 infection and that Care Providers Oklahoma cannot prevent and is not responsible for such risk of infection to any person who chooses to attend in-person training and/or meetings.
